thoughts on valentines day.

I write more love songs when i am single. I suppose its because relationships are so much easier to romanticize when you aren't in one. And by write songs I mean, make up songs in my head while I am driving. I haven't been eating a bunch lately just simply because I haven't been very hungry. When i do eat I get full real quickly. I am not complaining. I have been spending so much time in my room lately. Now that is is clean, it is much more pleasant to be in.

I went to dinner tonight at a place called Tommy's with my parents. My parents asked me on a pity date haha. But considering I would have just been sitting at home otherwise, I wasn't going to complain or decline. It was nice. The food was so-so. But the atmosphere was great. the sun was just setting so there was a golden light that was kind to the eyes. We were seated on the patio, and the temperature outside was perfect. There was also an old man playing and accordion. He played Green Grass by Tom Waits, and I was thrilled. hopefully this is not the most eventfull thing about my valentines day...
