To New Beginnings!

New beginnings indeed.

My boyfriend Devin and I broke up after 7 months. It was a simple, sensible, and timely breakup and not a tear was shed.

He and I are still friends, and we make MUCH better friends then we ever made romantic partners.

I am proud to say that "All the Single Ladies" now applies to me an

d its pretty great.

Also, I started a new semester at Ye Olde Community College [Grossmont to be exact] and I am totally loving my classes. French I, Abnormal Psychology, and Music Theory.

Music Theory... where do start? It is great to know that there are people in the world th

at see music the same way that I do. That I am not this super dorky weirdo that sees music as this magical beautiful amazing thing. We conducted in class and I fell eve deeper in love with it. The teacher had us close our eyes and conduct to beautiful music and I never wanted to sto

p. My heart swelled. My soul danced. Music is glorious, and mysterious and I only want to know more.

I

have started drawing again. For some reason I hadn't drawn anything I

was proud of in ages.

I have also been crocheting like a champ.

I am currently completely enamored with Pedro The Lion's "Control" Devotchka, "How this will end", The Mountain Goats, a bit of Owl City here and there, Sufjan Stevens's Seven Swans O_O.[ why it took me this long to listen to that album...i am still wondering.] Miike Snow, Bjork, Dashboard Confessional [kickin' it high-school]

and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros hit single "Home", and more but those are the highlights.

have also started religiously watching Dexter.
